The business

Biological knowledge, field methodology and visual material in one assignment

Green northern lights above a dark forest silhouette and starry sky — Northern lights

I work professionally with birds and nature, carrying out bird surveys, environmental monitoring, GIS analysis, photographic documentation and film production. I also produce films for companies as marketing material – moving images of birds and nature for websites, campaigns and social media. Assignments range from breeding bird surveys and raptor studies to map products and visual material for reports, communication and marketing.

The work is built on long and broad field experience, with thorough species knowledge and a solid understanding of bird calls, behaviour and survey methods. Through systematic surveys, territory mapping and targeted inventories I have worked in varied environments such as forest, wetlands, farmland and coast. I have experience adapting survey methodology to species, environment and project purpose, with a focus on careful data collection and reliable results. This is complemented by data processing, quality assurance and GIS, as well as documentation of species, habitats and project areas through high-quality photo and film.
